I combed through many press releases in my email inbox to provide Austinites with 15 of the best events happening around New Year’s Eve. I wanted to be as inclusive as I could while creating this article, so I separated the events into a few different categories: Dining, Evening Celebrations, NYE at Home, Brunch, Family-friendly and a few on New Year’s Day.

I was originally going to stop writing after about 8 or 10 events, but I decided to go a little overboard to make sure I had enough events to cover all the categories I wanted to include. The Evening Celebrations section was (of course) the largest, but I was really pleased to see so many local Austin restaurants creating multi-course dinner events for those who aren’t much for parties.

2022 will be my first year not working the night shift on New Year’s Eve. It sounds crazy to think that for the past three years, I could never go out that night because of work. So this article turned into a great resource for me to make my own plans for the evening!
